Description
The rocky coast of Maine inspired this canvas. The rocks and other areas are painted with palette knife strokes, which add to the texture among the brush strokes of the sky. In the sea area there are several sailboats out for the afteroon breezes. The painting was done "en plein air" on the coastline near Boothbay Harbor, Maine in the summer of 2001.
