This collage had been in numerous working stages until September 11, 2001.
After then, the artist felt that it was completed when twin towers were added to the composition. The tear running
down the Lady's cheek truly defined all the reason for the other messages contained in the work in progress.
Terrorist attacks on American soil added in to our saddened world . The painting is concerned with the ecology of
the planet, and the liberty, which must be preserved. Lady Liberty has so far prevailed and for this we do give thanks.
