This pastel and watercolor mixed media painting creates a mood of spring progress over the landscape. The rains and the blossoming trees have been at work in the valley over a few special spring weeks. Movement in the sky helps create the mood of happy expectancy of spring.The earth changes from the cold of winter to the delicate spring warmth in the valley below the artist’s studio. One can almost see the rain showers moving on and the green fields growing.
The foreground has been enhanced with ink drawing among the pastel and watercolor mixed with acrylic paint strokes on hand -made paper.
