Description
One can read many things into a collage. This particular creation is painterly and tactile to the touch. There is a movement, which seems to run through the whole piece. It is strongly suggestive of a running figure, but this, of course, is only suggestive, thus the double title. The predominant colors are cadmium red (orange-red) and black and white. Various tactile papers, such as rice paper and newspaper have been added to add to an interesting surface on the stretched canvas.
