Terrapin hill is covered with wild shrubbery, trees, grasses and is now part of the White Clay Creek State Park in Delaware. This oil depicts the hillside in its early Autumn colors. It is painterly in approach, using impasto brush strokes. This is a beautiful rendition of what could be almost any hillside in the northeastern United States.
